Installation of the desktop themes and icons
for WINDOWS 98 / 2000 / XP classic
1: Installation of the desktop themes
Download an run the selfextracting archiv. Start the desktop theme manager
and choose one of the installed desktop themes.
- WINDOWS 98/ME: You may find the theme manager in the system control center if the desktop themes
were installed during WINDOWS setup.
- WINDOWS 2000: The theme manger is the program theme.exe in
$WINDIR/system32. Start it from the explorer.
- WINDOWS XP: Click with the right mouse button on the desktop and choose
Properties. The first card the dialog contains the theme manager.
Sometimes the theme manager set the desktop wallpaper not correct.
You may convert the wallpaper to a BMP-image or activate the web view for the
desktop and set the wallpaper in the desktop settings dialog.
The wallpapers are installed in
$PROGRAMDIR\Plus!\Themes.
Uninstall: Start the
system control center, choose
software
and remove the software package
bk_landscapes.
2: Installation of the icons:
Download the archiv and unpack it to a new directory.

Change the icons on your desktop:
- Click with the right button on the icon you want to change.
- Choose Properties and in the dialog choose the button New icon
- Select one of the installed icons and close all dialogs with OK.

Change the icons for your mime types:
- Open the dialog for editing the mime types.
- Choose a mime type by double click.
- In the new dialog choose Other icon
- Select one of the installed icons and close all dialogs with Ok.
3: Install the OpenOffice.org-1.1 toolbar
- Download and unpack the archiv.
- Copy the directory soffice.cfg to your user configuration
<PROGRAMDIR>/OpenOffice.org-1.1/user/config/soffice.cfg. If
the directory already exist, rename it or make a backup.
- Restart your computer.
